Hardware Repair Service
IMSS is an authorized repair center for Apple Computer and Dell Computer. We also repair certain models of HP printers.
There is a $75 per hour fee for labor on non-warranty repairs.
Computers in need of repair should be dropped of at the Help Desk in 312 Center for Student Services. Onsite pickup is also available.

ITS Printer Service & Repair
Overview
IMSS can service and repair many common printer brands and models on campus. The rate is $75 per hour (POETA or cash accepted) and basic estimates are provided free of charge.

- LaserJet III Series: most repairs & service
- LaserJet 4 Series: most repairs & service
- LaserJet 5 Series: most repairs & service
- LaserJet 6 Series: most repairs & service
- LaserJet 4000 Series: basic repairs & service only
- LaserJet Color Series: fuser replacement only
- Other HP LaserJet Models: please inquire
- DeskJet / Inkjet Printers: no repairs or service (see note below)
- Epson / Lexmark / Xerox / Most Others
- no service or repair, but we can recommend outside vendors
Additional Notes
Given the low cost of new inkjet printers and the constant technology advancement of new models, repairing inkjet printers is generally not cost-effective.

HP LaserJet parts can usually be obtained from outside vendors in 2-4 business days. We often stock basic parts for some popular HP models.
